Job Description:

Monitors operations of telephone and paging systems Ensures that telephone equipment is in good working order and that problems are reported to the proper department Monitors emergency alarms and medical alarms located in the office Communicates medical and other information to authorized recipients Operates the hospital s telecommunication systems i,e, multi-line phone systems and computer based switchboards and in-house paging system Announces and beeps medical codes, disasters, and other emergencies in accordance with hospital and system policies Maintain accurate records of emergency calls Demonstrates a thorough awareness of and familiarity with information resources in the department Works closely with other hospital staff to ensure seamless communication and patient satisfaction Interested in learning more about our IT&S team?
