Job Category Staff & Executive - Athletics Overview The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women's and 10 men's programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation's premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as "The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Technical Coordinator - Audio/Visual Services for Football. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Acts as the lead designer and photographer for the Rutgers University football program. Interprets needs, develops concepts, directs, and creates content for Rutgers Football. Works as the photographer for game day and other football related events. Helps student-athletes build their brand. Stays up-to-date on the latest football and marketing trends and industry change. Assists the Director of Communications and Branding in the lead of the creative media team that creates social media, web and marketing content for the program.

37.50 Work Arrangement Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 or the applicable provisions of relevant collective negotiations agreements, this position requires a fully on-site work arrangement and may be eligible for a compressed workweek or a flex workday schedule. ABP Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of previous experience creating video content for an athletic department, team, agency, production-house or media brand, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong attention to detail, creativity and problem-solving skills. Advanced skills in design, shooting, storytelling, and editing. Preferred Qualifications Three to five years of previous experience creating video content for an athletic department, team, agency, production-house or media brand. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition), Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), project management tools.
