Job Description

Position Summary:
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Unit Computing Specialist for the School of Engineering. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Provides prompt desktop system and network support in the Engineering computer labs and offices. Manages Proxmox cluster with server containers and Ravada instructional virtual desktop (VD) system with Nvidia GPU devices. Provides support for audio and visual conferencing systems in the School of Engineering buildings. Develops CMS based web sites for Engineering research centers/labs and student organizations based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliance.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience and two years of experience.
