Job Description

Position Overview:
Elev8 Center New Jersey is seeking an experienced, hands-on IT professional to manage and support daily IT operations, infrastructure, security systems, and end-user support within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, dependable, technically skilled, and capable of independently managing both routine IT support and critical infrastructure systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, responsiveness, and the flexibility to assist with after-hours or emergency support when needed. Healthcare experience is

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in behavioral health, medical, hospital, or HIPAA-compliant environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide onsite IT support for staff, systems, and end users Manage help desk requests, troubleshooting, and issue resolution Support and maintain network infrastructure, servers, and connectivity Monitor and assist with cybersecurity initiatives, including SIEM and ITDR tools Administer Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure Cloud environments Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot printers and peripheral devices Support HIPAA-compliant systems and maintain security best practices Manage Hikvision camera systems, including DVR/NVR infrastructure and 150+ cameras Maintain and troubleshoot Kantech access control systems supporting 50+ doors/access points Coordinate hardware/software deployments, upgrades, and maintenance Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and IT procedures Provide after-hours and emergency IT support as needed Assist leadership with technology planning, infrastructure improvements, and operational efficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure management Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Experience supporting healthcare or HIPAA-regulated environments preferred Knowledge of networking, firewalls, switches, and infrastructure systems Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Intune, and Azure Cloud platforms Intune certification preferred Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and monitoring systems Experience supporting surveillance and access control systems preferred Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite full-time
Preferred Technical Experience:

Working Conditions:
Full-time onsite position in a fast-paced healthcare environment Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift IT equipment as needed May require lifting and moving computers, monitors, printers, networking equipment, and related hardware up to 50 lbs. Frequent interaction with staff, vendors, and leadership across multiple departments Ability to respond to urgent technical issues during and after normal business hours Participation in after-hours maintenance, system upgrades, and emergency support when necessary Exposure to server rooms, wiring closets, surveillance systems, and infrastructure environments Must maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational security standards

From $50,000.00 per year
