Job Description :
The Fleet Management Coordinator supports the administration and daily operation of The client's non-revenue fleet, which consists of approximately 1,000-1,200vehicles assigned to Police, Administrative, Rail, and Bus operations. This position is responsible for maintaining fleet management systems, monitoring vehicle usage and performance, coordinating vehicle replacement planning, and supporting leasing, retirement, and disposal activities. The role also assists with ensuring compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and internal procedures.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities Maintain, and modify the fleet management system for a fleet of approximately 1,200 vehicles. Manage carpool operations, vehicle rotation, fuel/credit card handling, car wash programs, and fleet maintenance programs. Arrange for vehicle retirement, turn-in, transfer, and disposal as required. Monitor and review reports related to vehicle condition, mileage, accidents and unusual occurrences, fines and violations, fuel purchases and trends, preventive maintenance, and shop maintenance activity. Coordinate with IT, internal departments, and vendors to interpret system data, troubleshoot issues, and develop reports to ensure optimal system performance. Monitor compliance with corporate policies, state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and fleet-related procedures. Support vehicle delivery tracking and documentation Support data entry, reporting, recordkeeping, and administrative functions related to fleet operations. Communicate with internal departments, vendors, and stakeholders regarding vehicle assignments, availability, maintenance status, replacement planning, and related fleet matters.
