Integrated Logistic Support Engineer (ILS)

Job Description Description of the mission Within the Business Line Product Support of the Customer Support Service (CSS) of Safran Aerosystems based in Plaisir, the ILS service aims to ensure the LSA/ILS activity and the monitoring of entry into service for new aircraft. As such, you will carry out the following tasks: Participation in the development of BU products as a member of the development team:

• Participation in the tender phase in order to analyze the aircraft manufacturer requirements related to product support:
• Calculation of maintenance costs (DMC)
• Calculation of NRC (Monitored during the duration of the program)
• Compliance with requirements (Tech Pub standards, Customer training)
• Participation in design reviews (PDR, CDR, …)
• Consideration of maintainability in the design
• Consideration of lessons learned from similar systems/equipment in service
• Realization of the Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and associated deliverables (maintainability reports, …)
• Definition of levels, tasks, resources and maintenance times
• Verification of operability requirements (in contribution with the aircraft manufacturer).
• Analysis of tooling needs at aircraft level.
• Management of the detailed content of CMMs (Nomenclature and Procurability, Adaptation of repair, test and test bench procedures)
• Monitoring and compliance with the entry into service schedule (EIS) for the activities of the Product Support division.
• Participation in the continuous improvement of the ILS process and our tools.
• Participation in the deployment of the Safran PROMPT repository in the Aerosystems BUs Job Requirements Your profile General engineer or ideally Aeronautics.

Professional experience required:

You have experience in the ILS, or more than 2 years of experience in Aeronautics, in particular in aircraft maintenance or development. Technical knowledge :

• LSA and ILS methodologies/tools.
• Experience in the development of aeronautical equipment and/or aeronautical maintenance.
• Project management.
• Ability to drive transversely.
• Fluent English.
• Windows office tools (have initiatives for the creation of tools).
• Having financial knowledge is a plus.
• Speaking French is a plus.

Know-how :

• Ability to work in a team (internal and with group companies).
• Ability to convince and unify.
• Autonomy and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Conscientiousness.
• Sense of customer service.

Knowledge of aeronautical regulations is a plus. Intercultural skills are a plus (our clients are worldwide) But what else? (advantages, specific features, etc.) Travel within the USA and to France for occasional internal SAFRAN meetings, but also occasional trips to our aircraft manufacturer customers.
