Job Description:
Continuum Recruiting is helping an innovative, on-demand autonomous ride-hailing company build a team of TeleOps Operators to support its growing fleet of autonomous vehicles. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of self-driving technology by monitoring vehicles, providing remote assistance when needed, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of the TeleOperations system. As a TeleOps and Application Support Operator , you will act as the human backup for self-driving vehicles, monitoring them in real time and stepping in when the system encounters situations it can't safely handle on its own. Day to day , you'll watch multiple vehicles through internal software, provide remote guidance when needed, and occasionally take control using specialized tools. Everything is done under strict safety protocols, so accuracy and following procedure are critical. You'll also document incidents, report patterns, and give feedback to engineers on both vehicle behavior and the TeleOps tools themselves to help improve system performance. The company is looking for someone calm under pressure, comfortable with technical systems like Windows or Linux, and experienced in operations, QA, or technical support-type roles where you follow structured processes. This is a shift-based role that requires strong attention, communication, and reliability in a real-time environment. Schedule - 10:00 AM-6:30 PM or 5:30 PM-2
AM Tues-Sat Wed-Sun Thurs-Mon Sat-Wed Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in operations, technical support, software testing, or a similar technical field Comfort working in fast-paced, real-time environments where attention and accuracy are critical Comfortable working within Windows and/or Linux Experience following structured processes Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations Strong situational awareness and ability to stay focused while monitoring multiple streams or systems Clear written and verbal communication skills Candidates who are highly interested in the AV industry
Bonus Qualifications:
Experience with QA testing or working in the autonomous vehicle industry Bachelor's degree in STEM, analytics, or related field Basic understanding of data analysis to help build out and analyze metrics Strong familiarity with video-game style controls or simulation software
