In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic equipment and devices. Training will be given. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of hardware and software components, support field service operations, and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electronic equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and low voltage testers. Conduct field service visits to install, inspect, and repair equipment at various customer sites or facilities. Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to disassemble, assemble, and adjust electronic devices with precision. Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Support computer hardware setups, upgrades, and troubleshooting related to network connectivity or system performance. Assist in equipment calibration, testing, and preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and safety standards are met. Skills Proven experience in service technician roles with a focus on electronics repair and maintenance. Strong proficiency with hand tools, schematics reading, and mechanical assembly/disassembly. Familiarity with computer hardware components and basic networking principles. Ability to troubleshoot low voltage electrical systems safely using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of equipment repair procedures across various electronic devices and systems. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
