The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Ability to work with users diplomatically and skillfullyExercises judgement and decision making in the diagnosis and resolution of computer hardware and software problemsPerforms full range of work assigned and works with some independence and initiativeEnforces IT policies as it relates to financial systems and take appropriate course of actionInstalls and maintains database hardware and softwareOrganizes work, sets priorities and meets critical time deadlinesParticipates in team meetings, providing input and suggestions. Participates in setting short and long term goalsMonitors systems to ensure compliance with company and governmental policiesProvide written documentation of all duties
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
Must be fluent in EnglishHigh school diploma and/or 2-year experience in ITCompetencies required: Windows OS Microsoft Office Suite, Laptop/Desktop, PC configurationsCompTia A+ or equivalentAbility to multitask in demanding environmentsExcellent organizational and communication skills requiredAbility to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journalsWorking knowledge of Networking and TCP/IPWorking knowledge of Domain and Activity Directory SupportProven ability to work with users diplomatically and skillfullyRequires State of Nevada Gaming licenseIdentification that establishes identityIdentification that establishes the right to work in the United States
