Job Description

  • 7:00 PM) All positions require one Saturday shift per month , which may be worked remotely.
As the IT Help Desk Technician, you would : Respond to incoming inquiries, assess problems and issues with IT equipment and applications, and help resolve these issues via phone or ticketing system; Perform daily, end-of-month, end-of-quarter and year-end computer operations tasks; Deploy, troubleshoot and/or configure endpoints, peripherals and banking equipment; Monitor systems and report exceptions and status to appropriate technology owner; Perform preventative maintenance routines, backups and alternate computer operations testing; Transfer data files and reports into a predefined repository; Create and maintain computer operations checklists and workflow diagrams Maintain Service Desk policies, procedures and standards.   • 5 years related IT experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with and knowledge of concepts such as ITIL relating to IT practices and IT service management. Strong technical troubleshooting skills. The ability to follow documented procedures with a strong attention to detail. Great customer service attitude. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Dynamic adaptability; ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced setting. Experience working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to understand, analyze, and solve endpoint and peripheral problems in a complex, business critical environment. Self-motivation and organization. Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
