Job DescriptionLocation:
 NYC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite/week)

We do not support or transfer other visa types (e.g., H-1B). We are seeking a talented Application Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in FX and eTrading environments and be passionate about working in Front Office teams. If you've worked in Trading environments and like the pace of solving real problems for traders in real time, this role is for you.

Role and responsibilitiesProvide day-to-day trade support to traders, MO, BO, and risk teams across Orchestrade and IRDTroubleshoot critical desk issues fast, fix trade capture and event processing problems, and keep positions, P&L, and risk clean in the systemsPartner with global Tech and Ops teams on strategic projects, bring the business view, test new rollouts, and push existing processes to be betterRun reconciliations across systems during upgrades and keep connectivity solid for the desksEnsure platforms admin in relation with system providers, both internal and external #LI-MNRKQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, CS, or similarStrong understanding of eTrading and exposure to IRDExperience supporting Front Office trading apps, Orchestrade is a plus Proficiency in Unix/Linux, SQL, WindowsAble to talk directly with traders and turn their needs into something Tech can act onCompany's BenefitsAt Talan, we invest in our employees' well-being and empower them with benefits, including:💵 Competitive salary between USD $110,000 - US$145,000💸401(k) retirement plan with company matching🌴15 days of paid vacation per year at hire and up to 27 according to seniority (annual untaken vacation days are cashed out)📴8 paid holidays + 5 sick days + 2 personal days per year❤️‍🩹Company health, dental, and vision insurance plans + FSA🦺Voluntary STD and LTD🚍 Commuter/transit benefitsAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
