Job Description

Eagle Rock Properties is a privately held, fully integrated real estate operating company whose principals have over 25 years of experience in acquiring, financing, developing, leasing, managing, and disposing of real estate. Headquartered in NY, our company has over 300 real estate professionals currently operating roughly 11,000 apartments throughout the northeastern United States. The Management Company, located in Plainview, NY, is solely focused on Eagle Rock owned assets and does not third-party manage.
Overview:
We are seeking a qualified IT Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will support our day-to-day IT operations onsite in our Plainview, NY location. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise IT practices while building strong customer service, troubleshooting, and process-thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
Assist with onboarding/offboarding employees Provide front-line helpdesk support for common requests such as password resets, basic software installation/troubleshooting, workstation issues, and end-user hardware/peripheral support. Log service requests in our ticketing software, maintain status, and provide follow-up to both end-users and senior members of the IT staff. Proactively follow up and manage tasks effectively Mobile phone support and management (Intune, iPhone) Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as necessary
Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving skills Willingness to learn and grow Good written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft 365 Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Associate's degree program for Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
