Job Description
CR Computer is a Long Island-based Technology Management company that has served Construction and Manufacturing businesses throughout New York for over 20 years. We have been recognized as one of the best computer companies on Long Island multiple years in a row, and we are building a team that takes pride in doing things the right way. We are looking for a professional, methodical, and caring IT Support Technician who enjoy solving real business problems, working directly with clients, and constantly improving their technical skills. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow, not just "work tickets." Responsibilities Provide caring and professional technical support to our clients both remotely and onsite Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, servers, Microsoft 365, and business applications Support Windows operating systems and Windows Server environments Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, migrations, and user support Support network and connectivity issues including VPN, firewalls, switches, wireless, and LAN environments Install, configure, patch, and maintain hardware and software Document work clearly and accurately in the ticketing system Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership of the outcome Experience 3+ years of technical support experience Strong experience with Windows desktop and Windows Server environments Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support Familiarity with networking fundamentals, VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint troubleshooting Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced MSP or multi-client support environment Valid driver's license required Preferred MSP experience Experience supporting Construction or Manufacturing firms Technical certifications or equivalent hands-on experience
