We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Specialist I to serve as the first line of technical support for our dealership employees. Position Summary The IT Support Specialist I will provide frontline technical support for end users across multiple dealership locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting technology, helping people solve problems, and growing their IT career within a fast-paced business environment. The successful candidate will support desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, dealership software, user accounts, and network-connected equipment while working closely with the IT Director and external technology vendors. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for employee technology support requests Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues Set up, configure, and deploy computers, mobile devices, and peripherals Create, modify, and disable user accounts and permissions Install software updates, patches, and security enhancements Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees Document support tickets, resolutions, and IT inventory Escalate complex technical issues to the IT Director or third-party vendors Assist with maintaining cybersecurity standards and user awareness Travel to Maryland dealership locations as necessary to provide onsite support Participate in after-hours support and project work when needed Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred 1-3 years of IT support, help desk, or technical support experience Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills Experience supporting: Windows 10/11 Microsoft 365 Printers and scanners Mobile devices (iOS and Android) Basic networking concepts Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools preferred Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Desired Traits Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Self-starter who enjoys learning new technologies Team-oriented mindset with a customer-first approach What We Offer Competitive salary Medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company participation Paid vacation and holidays Career development and advancement opportunities Exposure to enterprise-level technology projects Opportunity to work directly with senior leadership and the IT Director while helping build a growing IT department Why Join Us?
