Job Description

Job Description Overview We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support end-user device deployment and onboarding, with a strong focus on laptop imaging and configuration. This role will be responsible for preparing and provisioning corporate laptops using SCCM and supporting mobile device management through Intune for specific business units. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience in high-volume device deployments. Key Responsibilities Perform laptop imaging, configuration, and deployment for new hires and existing employees Utilize SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) to image and manage corporate laptops Support Intune (Microsoft Endpoint Manager) for device provisioning and management (CSR/user groups) Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, drivers, and enterprise applications Provide deskside and remote support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues Set up user accounts, permissions, and access in accordance with IT policies Track inventory, asset management, and device lifecycle processes Document imaging processes, deployment steps, and support tickets in ITSM tools Work closely with onboarding teams to ensure timely device readiness for new employees We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Required Qualifications 2+ years of Desktop Support / IT Support experience Hands-on experience with laptop imaging and deployment in a corporate environment Experience using SCCM for OS deployment and patching Familiarity with Intune / Microsoft Endpoint Manager Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office suite Experience troubleshooting hardware (laptops, docks, peripherals) Excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting high-volume onboarding or refresh projects Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD Exposure to ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.) Basic networking knowledge (VPN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP) CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or similar Nice-to-Have Experience supporting multiple device management environments (SCCM + Intune coexistence) Automation or scripting exposure (PowerShell)
