  • Job Description Summary:
  • Provide operational support of all IT infrastructure within our Data Centers, this includes servers, storage, network, network security, and telecommunications. Work includes the physical implementation and or removal of these components, which includes racking/stacking equipment, cabling, power, documentation, etc.
  • Responsibilities And Duties:
  • 50% Installs, configures, maintains, monitors and troubleshoots system level server software.
15% Establishes and implements LAN policies, procedures and standards and ensures their conformance with information services and the organization's objectives. 10% Provides technical support, training and consultation to other departments in the Information Systems as well as the entire organization. 5% Maintains system security at the operating system level. 5% Assists in developing and maintaining a disaster recovery plan for system software. 5% Develops awareness in state of the art hardware and software technologies. 5% Provides on-call support for server level problems. 5% Performs routine administrative tasks i.e, status report s .
