IT SPECIALIST
(PLCYPLN), GS-2210-11, you will perform the following duties: 1. Develops and manages the ste IT Plan. Provides support in the planning and analysis phase to ensure the mission and program management principles are documented. Ensures the completion and review of life-cycle trends and cost-benefit analysis for installion informion systems and support services. Develops informion policies, plans and programs for the ste in conjunction with the supervisor and the various division/branch chiefs. Periodically analyzes existing policies and procedures for applicion of security and informion assurance compliance in all planning and IT management activities. Reviews applicable NGB, and Joint Technical Architectures for integrion into the ste IT architecture. Develops, documents and maintains the ste IT architecture in support of the C4 program goals and objectives. 2. Coordines the completion and review of the various IT reporting requirements in conjunction with the supervisor and all division/branch chiefs. Analyzes the division chiefs' submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance with C4 policies and objectives. Recommends changes and/or improvements. Analyzes and manages the informion management internal controls program, analyzing proposed systems determining the program impact and resource requirements along with reviewing budget management functions for program impact and compliance with C4 priorities and objectives. 3. Serves as a key analyst in the IT capital planning process. Completes and reviews the ste's IT budget submission to ensure th it reflects the goals and objectives of the organizion and th it addresses all ste Enterprise requirements. This submission is the basis for the ste portion of the NGB Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submission. Provides analysis and specificions for review by the organizional chief and the various division/branch chiefs to project fiscal impacts and requirements for budgetary issues. Coordines with the various C4 program managers in the analysis and reconciliion of fiscal issues in support of informion management goals and program objectives. Conducts analysis and audits of assessable C4 programs. Analyzes findings and develops reports noting deficiencies found with suggested corrective actions designed to ensure the effective accomplishments of the C4 program goals, objectives and policies. Analyzes new or proposed regulions, legislion, or opering procedures for impact on the IT programs and operions mission. Develops regulory and policy documents for the directore. 4. Coordines the completion of budget management functions in conjunction with all fiscal managers within the organizion. This includes analysis and review of the Annual Funding Program and the impact to the various C4 Program areas. Prepares management reports and funding stus based on the initiives and objectives for review by the supervisor. Analyzes and reviews the organizion's projects and policies to ensure compliance with the Enterprise Informion Plan objectives. Schedules and tends meetings and conferences. Represents the organizion meetings and on committees. Prepares briefings and reports. 5. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
: Have least one year of specialized experience or equivalent to GS09 gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT and th has equipped you with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
