Job Description

Technical Support Specialist I - Dayton, Ohio Are you early in your IT career and excited to build hands-on technical support skills in a professional environment? About our Team Our team provides frontline technology support to ensure colleagues can work efficiently and effectively. We collaborate closely, share knowledge, and focus on delivering reliable, responsive desktop and infrastructure support across the business. About the Role This is an entry-level IT support role focused on providing technical assistance to end users under supervision. You will help install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, and basic network issues, while developing practical skills across a range of technologies. Responsibilities Support the resolution of end-user desktop issues, including hardware, software, and printer configuration Install software, hardware peripherals, and support desktop upgrades and rollouts Perform daily backup procedures and follow established support processes Liaise with third-party software and hardware vendors to support issue resolution Monitor and troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues using software and hardware monitoring tools Provide technical setup and on-site support at selected trade shows, including periodic travel Assist with troubleshooting across hardware, software, telecommunications, and business applications Carry out other related duties as assigned Requirements Foundational knowledge of computer hardware and software gained through education, certification, or equivalent work experience Experience or familiarity with hardware and software installation and troubleshooting Basic understanding of software monitoring tools and backup procedures Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with guidance and follow documented processes Willingness to travel up to 25% as required Technology certifications such as A+ are beneficial Work in a Way That Works for You We promote flexible and inclusive ways of working that help you balance professional and personal commitments, while meeting role and business needs. National Base Pay Range:
$44,500 - $74,100. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
