SUPV IT SPECIALIST
(PLCYPLN), GS-2210-14, you will perform the following duties: (1) Responsible for operional training and mission accomplishment of multiple diverse squadrons, with a drill stus guard military populion typically in excess of 900 personnel loced across several stes, comprised of multiple units whose installions are geographically separed. Accountable to a wide variety of federal, ste, and local authorities on all aspects of operions, personnel, equipment, funds, environmental compliance and real property management. (2) Determines unit goals and establish the foundion for short and long range planning and execution of all unit programs - directly and through subordine staff officers and aligned detachment commanders. Formules policy and provides command perspective for mission and programmic changes affecting the Headquarters and/or aligned units. Provides focus for all unit functions and activities. Considers factors such as current and future mission needs, political clime, environmental considerions, area demographics, radio frequency spectrum availability, tactical training locion accessibility, and other local limitions when developing unit goals to support nional and ste military stregies. Provides operional control and support to organizions assigned as subordine units to the Headquarters. Responsible for the overall integrion of the mutually supported mission roles of the diverse squadrons for system training in support of the Air Force mission. Ensures all Group assets are ready to support a variety of traditional and non-traditional military roles and missions such as overseas training, deployment of personnel or equipment in support of active Air Force missions, Homeland Defense, ste emergencies, disaster relief, and drug interdiction. Provides liaison coordinion for total integred training of all aligned units in support of the wartime missions. (3) Responsible for managing the Group wartime mission training program. Ensures Unit Type Code (UTC) training meets requirements and achieves comb readiness objectives. Ensures Group augmention personnel are comb ready to support an
AFFOR/AOC.
Maintains mission readiness and complies with service directives as valided by the Unit Compliance Inspection process by the MAJCOM Inspector General and other reviewing agencies. Demonstres readiness and mission capability through detailed Air Force Operional Readiness Inspections (ORIs). Makes critical judgment and on-the-spot decisions regarding the safety of deployed personnel in tactical environments. Quickly resolves emergencies and directs emergency response efforts as mishaps occur. Recommends changes in organizional structure, including specific changes, such as new unit missions or new mission areas. (4) Responsible to ensure the availability of mission capable

augmention UTCs, for aligned capabilities which includes Communicions-Electronics, Engineering Installion, Space Operions, and/or Air Traffic Control. Ensures Group assets are ready to meet training and Air Force contingency requirements. Monitors adequacy of maintenance, supply management, and equipment repair processes. Assures timely notificion of higher headquarters and concerned agencies when potential system wide Communicions-Electronics, Air Traffic Control, Engineering Installion, or sellite equipment deficiencies are identified. (5) Responsible for formuling, justifying, presenting, and executing multi-million dollar Operions and Maintenance (O&M), Military Personnel (MILPERS) and Environmental Management budgets, including both federal and ste appropried funds. Ensures logistics plans, supply inventory levels, and stock fund authorizions are adeque to support unit activity levels and meet mobilizion/mobility and wartime requirements. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS
