Electrical Root Cause & Launch Support Engineer (Associate)

$25-28/hr
Duration:
12-Month Contract Electrical Root Cause & Launch Support Engineer Do you enjoy solving complex technical problems and improving product quality? We are looking for an Electrical Root Cause & Launch Support Engineer to support vehicle quality initiatives and act as the Voice of the Customer within a major automotive assembly plant. What You'll Do Investigate electrical and vehicle quality concerns. Analyze warranty and customer quality data to identify trends and root causes. Lead corrective action and continuous improvement efforts. Support product launches and process changes. Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams. Utilize FMEA and other risk assessment tools to identify potential issues. Support yard holds, product-related investigations, and vehicle containment activities. Drive resolution of warranty, recall, and customer satisfaction concerns. Ensure control plans and quality standards are maintained. Present findings and recommendations to leadership. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology Related Engineering discipline with relevant experience Minimum 1 year of engineering experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft and Google applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong presentation and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Engineering Degree. Green Belt or Black Belt Certification. Experience performing root cause investigations. Automotive manufacturing or quality experience. Product Engineering, Vehicle Integration, or Supplier Quality experience. Experience within a vehicle or component assembly plant.
