Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to support daily IT operations across the organization. This role works directly under the Systems Administrator and is responsible for providing hands-on end-user support while assisting with the maintenance of systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a wide range of technical issues in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide first-line technical support for end users (hardware, software, and network issues) Set up and configure new workstations, laptops, and user accounts Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes Support Microsoft 365 environment (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, basic administration tasks) Assist with Active Directory tasks (user account management, group membership, permissions) Troubleshoot printers, connectivity issues, and shared resources Provide remote support for off-site users Maintain IT inventory and assist with asset tracking Escalate complex issues to the Systems Administrator as needed Assist with system updates, patching, and basic security tasks Document common issues and resolutions Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and/or equivalent work experience 1-3 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles Basic working knowledge of: Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Windows 10/11 environments Active Directory Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Preferred Qualifications Experience with remote support tools Familiarity with endpoint security software Exposure to virtualization or remote desktop environments Compensation Competitive pay based on experience
