Choctaw Global IT Support Specialist Intern -

Linux Server Administration Position Overview:

Choctaw Global LLC is seeking two (2) IT Support Specialist Interns with a focus on Linux server administration. This role provides hands-on experience managing server environments, monitoring performance, while supporting system reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Linux servers (installation, configuration, patching) Monitor system performance and ensure up-time and security Troubleshoot server-related issues and implement solutions to manage those issues Manage backups, recovery processes, and system updates

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Linux systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar) Understanding of server administration concepts and best practices Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

Preferred Skills:
