Support Engineering Technical Manager (Support Engineering Tech Mgmt)
Company:
The Boeing Company Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Operations and Integration Support Engineering Manager (Level L) to lead and manage a team of product support maintenance engineers. The successful candidate will oversee the analysis, design, development, and deployment of Maintenance Engineering (MxE) deliverables and initiatives. This role is responsible for setting organizational strategies, ensuring adherence to technical and product quality standards, and integrating efforts across all Product Support elements including Publications, PSA, Provisioning, Retrofit, and Systems Engineering. The manager will collaborate with internal teams, business partners, suppliers, and customers to ensure mission success.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of product support engineers to deliver high-quality support solutions. Manage the full lifecycle of Maintenance Engineering deliverables, from analysis through deployment. Establish and enforce organizational strategies and quality standards to meet program objectives. Integrate and coordinate across Product Support functions such as Publications, PSA, Provisioning, Retrofit, Design Engineering and Systems Engineering. Support program and project management activities, including change management processes. Foster effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners, including suppliers and customers. Utilize strong interpersonal skills to build alliances and partnerships across diverse teams. Apply strategic planning and decision-making to develop short- and long-term plans aligned with organizational goals. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications:
Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams 3+ years of experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product lifecycle Strong leadership, partnering, and organizational change skills; Program and Project management best practices and operational discipline Experience developing and implementing long-term strategies aligned with organizational goals Experience in leading Product teams using and applying standard metrics to ensure first time quality Experience communicating with senior managers and executives, customers (internal and external), business partners / suppliers / subcontractors, and government representatives
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Tableau or similar data analytics tools Familiarity with Product Support elements like Publications, PSA, Provisioning, Retrofit, and Systems Engineering. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
