Job Description

Role Summary This position involves providing technical support and field services within a dynamic operations team. The role requires a mid-level technician with comprehensive experience in desktop troubleshooting, network communications, and hardware installation. The technician will be responsible for traveling within the West Texas region, supporting equipment setup, upgrades, and troubleshooting across multiple sites, primarily based in Midland, TX. Responsibilities Perform hardware and software troubleshooting, installation, and upgrades on Windows 10 systems. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office applications and other desktop software. Provide network support, including LAN/WAN configuration, cable installation (Cat5, Cat6, Fiber), and network communications troubleshooting. Racking and stacking equipment in technical environments. Maintain and support various communication technologies such as Cisco, Aruba, and Ubiquiti radios. Support mobile device enrollment, application deployment, and updates on iOS platforms. Manage Active Directory user and computer objects, and implement Group Policy basics. Utilize rental vehicles for daily travel within West Texas, including overnight stays as needed. Maintain clear communication with clients and team members regarding technical issues and solutions. Document technical processes and incident reports accurately in service management systems. Qualifications 5-10 years of experience in field technical support, network installation, and troubleshooting. Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficient in Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and software troubleshooting. Demonstrated hardware installation and troubleshooting capabilities. Experience with LAN/WAN technologies, cable installation, and network communications. Knowledge of Cisco, Aruba, and Ubiquiti radio technologies is highly preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM/Intune, Citrix, and Active Directory concepts is a plus. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate rental vehicles. Ability to travel daily within West Texas, with flexibility for overnight stays. Available to work on-site in Midland, TX. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Publishing Pay Range:
$30.00 - $35.00 hourly
