Job Description

Technical Support Manager PrideStaff is seeking a career-minded Technical Support Manager for a manufacturing company based in Bend, Oregon. This role is designed for a leader with a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and a passion for high-level customer service. You will oversee the support team and act as a subject matter expert utilizing CNC technology. Key Responsibilities Manage the technical support team to ensure efficient resolution of customer inquiries and high service standards. Provide expert troubleshooting for machine setup, repairs, and diagnostics via phone, email, and in-person. Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures using multi-meters, hand tools, and CAD/CAM software. Conduct remote and on-site training for clients on CNC plasma table operation and maintenance. Utilize ERP, CRM, and CNC software to log cases, manage customer data, and process part/warranty orders. Travel as needed for on-site diagnostics, repairs, and customer training. Qualifications 2+ years in technical troubleshooting (customer service or production environment preferred). Strong understanding of electrical components (switches, relays, sensors, drivers, motors) and proficiency with hand tools/multi-meters. Proficient in Microsoft OS and email; experience with ERP/CRM and CAD/CAM software is a plus. Excellent communication, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a high level of accountability. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, organized team environment. High School Diploma required; Associate/Bachelor's degree or technical certification preferred. Work Environment Professional office setting utilizing standard office equipment. Requires a positive, personable approach to complex problem-solving.
