Job Summary:
Overview We are seeking a Data Center Operations (DCO) Technician to support and maintain the hardware infrastructure behind the latest cloud computing server technologies. This role is hands-on and mission-critical, focused on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing server and network hardware in a high-availability, 24/7 data center environment. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, a bias for action, and the ability to dive deep into complex rack-level issues while maintaining the highest operational and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform hardware break/fix maintenance on servers and related data center equipment Diagnose and resolve server, cabling, power, and network hardware issues through root-cause analysis Execute hands-on tasks including component replacement, inspections, and hardware repairs Respond quickly to alarms, faults, power issues, thermal events, and cabling failures to prevent service impact Maintain precision and accuracy in cabling, labeling, patching, and rack power installations Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure uptime, safety, and operational excellence Communicate technical findings clearly to individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 1+ year of hardware break/fix experience Previous hands-on experience with server maintenance, including: Hardware diagnostics Troubleshooting Repair of physical components Solid understanding of computer servers, network devices, and command-line diagnostics Ability to work on your feet for 12-hour shifts in a data center environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and situational awareness skills Ability to contribute positively to both inter
  • and intra-team collaboration Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Boardman, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00
  • $25.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
