We're looking for a reliable, hands-on IT technician to provide occasional technical support on an as-needed basis. This is a very part-time, flexible role with no guaranteed hours. Work is driven by whatever comes up — office systems, field laptops used by technicians, software for transmitter/studio/microwave work, or urgent troubleshooting during client jobs. Support systems related to transmitter diagnostics, studio equipment, two-way radio programming/configuring, point-to-point microwave link monitoring, logging, and broadcast operations. Provide remote or occasional on-site IT help when issues arise during tower, transmitter, studio, two-way, or microwave projects. Keep systems running smoothly for reporting, compliance, and day-to-day operations. Work independently and document what you did.
What We Are Looking For:
Solid hands-on experience with IT hardware, networking, Windows troubleshooting, and software support (2+ years preferred). Ability to work independently and respond when needs come up. Reliable transportation and flexibility for occasional field or after-hours support.
Bonus:
Experience or strong interest in broadcast/radio/TV environments, two-way radio systems, point-to-point microwave links, transmitter or RF-related systems, audio/production software, or amateur radio (ham) background. This role is ideal for someone technically strong who likes occasional hands-on work supporting real broadcast and communications projects.
