Logistics Specialist Location:
Portland OR, Onsite Duration:
7 months, with possible extensions Pay rate: $30-35/hour on W2 (client will not consider C2C)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first- and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and security tools. Assist with user account management (Active Directory, email, VPN, etc.). Manage inventory of IT equipment, accessories, and spare parts. Coordinate procurement, shipping, and receiving of hardware/software.
Track asset lifecycle:
deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning.
Required skills:
Experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk. Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems. Familiarity with networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar). Experience in logistics, inventory management, or procurement is a plus.
