Position Summary:
The ideal candidate would support staff in using district information systems, devices, and serve as a point of escalation from tier one. Support is provided through phone, in-person, and remote sessions. Travel to support on-site work and training occasionally required. District Summary The William Penn School District is located in southeastern Delaware County and serves approximately 5,000 students residing in the Aldan, Colwyn, Darby, East Lansdowne, Lansdowne, and Yeadon Boroughs. We share a collective vision of educating, nurturing, and empowering all students to become career- and/or college-ready.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Duties:
Provide second-level support for technical issues and liaison to Network Tech Utilize the district ticketing system for documentation and tracking of issues Responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating system images including administration of Intune Ensuring end point compliance with security guidelines adhering to industry best practices Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Technology Director
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Establish and nurture an environment that promotes cultural competence and equitable treatment of staff, students, and patrons of the district Ability to hold themself and others accountable for achieving the shared objectives of district leadership Candidates should be organized and have a logical approach to troubleshooting Possess the ability to integrate and work within a small team environment Objectivity to receive, reflect, and act on feedback with the goal of continuous improvement Ability to lead projects with minimal supervision including documentation and on demand report generation
Required Qualifications:
An associate degree in a related field and coursework in computer-related areas relevant to the duties listed above are preferred Experience with the use of Intune, Jamf, and Google Admin tools Microsoft, MacOS, iOS, and Google Workspace support experience Experience with education related applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, proven customer service experience Comptia A+ and N+ certification or working to completion

Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting Background Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168) forms School Personnel Health Record and TB test
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Work scheduled hours consistently, with some flexibility for off-hour work An indoor office environment is subject to frequent interruptions Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of standard office equipment Clarity of vision at varying distances Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to effectively communicate in an articulate manner Sitting and standing for extended periods of time Frequent sitting, standing, and walking Reaching overhead, above the shoulders, with horizontal movement Lifting objects with a strength factor of light work Occasional bending, reaching, hinging, and stretching Occasional kneeling, crouching, and squatting Occasional pushing, moving, and lifting objects
