Job Description

Summary:
IT/Data Processing Specialist is responsible for maintaining data and processing transactions following proper procedures and in accordance to applicable laws. He/she uploads and processes information from various sources, performs data entry research and corrections, performs system backups and updates, and other related tasks. IT/Data Processing Specialist is responsible for backing-up and supporting the IT Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Inputs various information into the computer system such as new account data, stop payments and all account maintenance Prepares various automated and manual reports Posts ATM and ACH batches Performs system backups and updates Maintains archive reports Performs exception item pull for NSF and Non-Post items Imports files from FED/Profit Stars and uploads data for computer entry Performs data entry corrections Prepares outgoing cash letters Researches, documents and processes Foreign Return Items Assists with keying, item repair, and balancing Works with related vendors/third parties Performs help desk support Scans and indexes documents into
Synergy Education/Training:
High school diploma Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field or equivalent experience or training preferred Banking related training a plus
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to accurately process transactions in a timely manner Strong computer and data entry skills Ability and willingness to attend work regularly and timely Strong math skills and reading comprehension are necessary Excellent problem solving ability
Experience:
Data processing experience Banking and IT experience preferred
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
