This contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, implementing technology solutions, and helping users stay productive. The role includes both remote and occasional onsite support, with availability to meet in person when necessary to resolve hardware, software, or network-related issues. Key Responsibilities Set up and configure computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other office technology. Manage and support company email accounts, including Microsoft 365 environments. Administer cloud-based systems, file storage, and user permissions. Assist with software implementation, integrations, and system migrations. Install, configure, and maintain antivirus, endpoint protection, and cybersecurity tools. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues. Provide remote technical support to employees and contractors. Respond to urgent IT issues and provide onsite support when required. Manage user accounts, passwords, access controls, and security settings. Maintain technology documentation and IT procedures. Recommend technology improvements to increase efficiency, security, and reliability. Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers when needed. Qualifications Proven experience in IT support, help desk, systems administration, or a related field. Strong understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems. Experience with Microsoft 365, cloud storage platforms, and email administration. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, antivirus software, and endpoint protection. Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple requests. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Reliable transportation and availability for occasional onsite support. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms and business software integrations. Knowledge of networking, VPNs, routers, and wireless systems. Experience supporting remote teams and distributed workforces. IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent credentials are a plus.
