The Campus IT Support Technician intern will provide hands-on technical support to end users in both office and warehouse environments. This role focuses on troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues, deploying and maintaining end-user devices, and supporting network and infrastructure equipment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically capable, organized, and comfortable working in a combination of office and warehouse environments.

Responsibilities:

• End User Support o Deliver first level support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.

o Diagnose and resolve hardware failures, performance problems, and connectivity issues. o Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot software applications. o Assist with workstation setups, office moves, and equipment relocations. o Provide on-site and remote support across office and warehouse locations. o Maintain clean, organized IT storage areas, racks, and cabinets.

• Network & Infrastructure Support o Install, terminate, and test network cabling in office and warehouse spaces. o Install and assist with configuration of wireless across points and network switches. o Perform basic network troubleshooting related to ports, cabling, and wireless connectivity. o Replace and maintain UPS units. Qualifications
• Preferred o Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. o Prior IT support or help desk experience. o Experience running and terminating Ethernet cabling. o Familiarity with TCP/IP, DHCP, VLANs, and Wi-Fi. o Familiarity with ticketing systems.
• Work Environment & Traits o Ability to work in office and warehouse environments.

o Comfortable using ladders for equipment installation. o Resourceful, organized, reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn.

Additional Details:

• Internship is a paid opportunity.
• Internship typically may be up to 40 hours per work week.
• Internship does not provide housing stipend/allowance.

Location:

• This position is located at our Wholesale Campus in Boone, Iowa.
