Cloud. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in information technology, support diverse hardware and software systems, and contribute to maintaining a robust IT infrastructure. As an integral part of our support team, you will assist with troubleshooting, system management, and user support to ensure seamless technology operations across the organization. This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to grow their IT expertise in a collaborative environment with ample learning opportunities. Duties Provide technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly. Assist with computer management tasks, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring optimal performance. Support network administration activities including configuring VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), firewalls, DNS settings, TCP/IP protocols, and LAN (Local Area Network) connectivity. Manage user accounts and permissions using tools like Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO), ensuring security compliance. Utilize IT service management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, and SCCM for ticket tracking, incident reporting, and system updates. Assist with the deployment and maintenance of computer hardware components and peripherals while supporting IT infrastructure projects involving Cisco Meraki or other network equipment. Contribute to help desk operations by providing excellent customer service through clear communication skills and timely issue resolution. Qualifications Strong interest in information technology with a desire to learn about computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and network systems. Basic understanding of operating systems including Windows (Microsoft Windows Server), macOS, and Linux environments. Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, LAN/WAN configurations, VPNs, firewalls, and network security best practices. Experience or knowledge of computer management tools like SCCM or BMC Remedy is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users. Demonstrated analysis skills for diagnosing problems efficiently and accurately. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. Prior experience in help desk support or IT support roles is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
