POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced ERP Developer & IT Systems Specialist to lead the next evolution of our company's digital operations. We are currently consolidating our 12 diverse lines of business from legacy systems into a unified, highly-custom Odoo ERP ecosystem. This role demands a unique blend of deep technical expertise, strategic project management, and collaborative interpersonal skills. This is a full-time, weekday position reporting to the Systems Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a hybrid position, primarily focused on ERP Development/Implementation with some IT Systems Administration responsibilities. You will be the architect of our digital future while ensuring the foundation of our daily operations. Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of custom Odoo modules and features using Python/PostgreSQL to meet specific business requirements. Play a key role in the company-wide implementation of the new Odoo ERP, including data migration, integration with existing systems and comprehensive end-user training/documentation. Act as ERP subject matter expert, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving complex incidents and problems appropriately. Design and generate critical business intelligence reports within the ERP environment. Provide technical support and incident resolution for end-users on all applications (Microsoft 365, web browsers, ERP) and platforms (Linux, Windows, and Mac). Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes; review system and application logs; and verify completion of scheduled jobs (e.g., Acronis backups). Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including network hardware and workstations. Install and maintain key software, including Odoo ERP, Microsoft 365, and anti-virus solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Proven, hands-on experience in ERP development and customization. Knowledge of Odoo ERP helpful. Deep understanding of core ERP concepts and modules (e.g., Sales Order Processing, Inventory Management, Invoicing, Accounting). Strong development proficiency in the

Code Stack:

Python, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and PostgreSQL. Ability to manage, prioritize, and execute technical projects from scoping through delivery and documentation. Excellent interpersonal skills for training, guiding, and troubleshooting issues collaboratively with a diverse staff. Advanced management of PostgreSQL & Microsoft SQL databases. Experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting solutions on LAN/WAN networking, firewalls, routers, and switches. Familiarity with anti-virus (e.g., Webroot) and VPN management.
