Franklin, TN About the Role We're looking for a Help Desk Team Lead to join a well-established organization's IT team in Franklin. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance supervising the help desk team with staying technical and solving real problems. If you're ready to step up, take ownership, and be a go-to person for both your team and leadership, this could be a great fit. What You'll Be Doing Help supervise help desk agents, manage workflows, and keep the day-to-day running smoothly Serve as the escalation point for major IT issues and see them through to resolution Troubleshoot laptops, servers, and networking issues Monitor ticket queues, enforce SLAs, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks Partner with other departments on IT projects and problem-solving Step in and support management when needed—you'll need to communicate clearly and confidently Handle asset tracking, vendor relationships, and documentation What We're Looking For Solid technical skills: laptop/server troubleshooting, networking issues, hardware/software support Strong customer service and communication skills—both written and verbal Ability to speak directly with management and represent the team well Someone who can balance being hands-on with stepping back to lead Intermediate-level experience in IT support or help desk environments Interview Process Two-step process: phone interview followed by a Teams interview with the hiring manager and IT leadership. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Franklin, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
