Prescient Solutions is an award-winning, Chicagoland-based Managed IT Services Partner. We have been providing CIO-level advisory support as well on-site and remote IT services since 1996. We are looking for a dynamic Helpdesk Engineer 2 who shares our commitment and believes in the value of communication and client interaction. As a Helpdesk Engineer 2/Senior Help Desk Engineer, you will: Provide Level 2 - 3 support on-site in a primarily Microsoft environment at our client site; Assist with systems administration and projects; and Document and post procedures. •Authorized to work for an employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.•Helpdesk Engineer 2 Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supports operational and technical functions at our client sites; Evaluates customer generated requirements and works with the client to ensure the implementation meets the clients' needs; Prepares operational and technical documentation; and Performs other duties and assists with special projects as needed. At least five years of IT related customer service experience in a helpdesk or call center setting; Solid understanding and troubleshooting skills of desktop and laptop OS's, general applications, anti-virus software, Office 365, printers, TCP/IP and communications protocols; Strong technical writing skills; and Authorized to work for any employer in the US.
