Who We Are Digital Management Services (DMS) is an international technology services provider delivering IT consulting, managed IT services, cloud solutions, and strategic technology support to businesses across a wide range of industries. What We Are Looking For DMS is seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our growing technical team. This role is responsible for providing advanced technical support and acting as an escalation point for complex client issues involving systems, networking, hardware, software, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically strong, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working directly with end users, internal teams, and leadership in a fast-paced professional environment. This position is primarily remote with occasional onsite responsibilities as needed. Canidates must reside within the Tri-state area (New York, Connecticut or New Jersey) Responsibilities Provide second level technical support for escalated software, hardware, networking, and infrastructure issues Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems remotely and onsite as needed Support Windows environments, Microsoft 365, user administration, endpoint management, and network connectivity Collaborate with first level support staff and senior engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues efficiently Monitor, document, and manage support requests through ticketing systems Maintain accurate documentation of troubleshooting procedures, solutions, and client environments Assist with system deployments, upgrades, onboarding, and IT project implementation Identify recurring technical issues and recommend proactive improvements Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and responsiveness Qualifications 2+ years of experience in IT support, technical support, or managed IT services Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 environments Experience with networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networking Familiarity with ticketing and remote management tools such as ConnectWise, ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, or similar platforms Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment Experience supporting small-to-mid-sized business environments preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience within an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint security tools Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or similar are a plus Why Work With Us?
