Job Description

We are an IT company based in NYC seeking entry-level IT professionals to represent our company by providing exceptional on-site and remote support. This position is part-time to full-time, with hours varying based on client needs.
Our ideal candidate is:
Eager to learn and grow in the IT field Reliable, punctual, and professional in client interactions Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable communicating with customers Based in or able to travel to the NYC area when needed
Requirements:
Basic understanding of networking: gateways, switches, IPs, and Wi-Fi Working knowledge of Microsoft Office for documentation Access to a Windows-based computer A remote workstation setup (monitor, keyboard, mouse) Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks independently Willingness to perform occasional on-site client visits Ability to handle basic administrative responsibilities such as updating logs, organizing documentation, and assisting with scheduling or follow-ups

$17.00 - $25.00 per hour Application Question(s): Explain the difference between a switch and a router in a network setup. What is a gateway, and why is it important in a local network?
