In this role, you will serve as the lead administrator for our Atlassian platform (Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management) and contribute to a range of initiatives spanning application support, data integrity, documentation, and internal technical assistance. You will also participate in an enterprise-level application rewrite — a buy/build/blend initiative that will modernize our core operational systems — supporting requirements gathering, testing, and validation activities. Looking forward, this role will grow into active involvement in emerging technology programs including robotic process automation (RPA) using UiPath, AI-powered tools, and the development of agentic workflows. We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to develop alongside these technologies. This is a hybrid position based out of our Folsom, CA office. Key Responsibilities Atlassian Administration & Collaboration Tools
- Serve as lead administrator for the Atlassian product suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management (JSM)
- Manage user accounts, project and space configuration, workflow design, permission schemes, and board administration
- Support ongoing maintenance, updates, and optimization of Atlassian environments
- Administer other collaboration and productivity platforms as assigned
- Conduct market research and make recommendations on new tools or solutions as organizational needs evolve Application & Project Support
- Contribute to backlog refinement, user story development, and requirements documentation in a Scrum-based environment
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), bug evaluation, and workflow validation across the website and internal web applications
- Support the enterprise application rewrite initiative by participating in requirements gathering, functional testing, and cross-system validation
- Provide occasional content updates and technical support for the PRISM website
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex development and integration initiatives Data & Systems Support
- Query and analyze data using Excel and SQL to support reporting, auditing, and decision-making
- Perform data migration, transformation, and cleansing tasks across internal systems
- Audit and validate data across platforms to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Support ETL processes and data quality checks as needed Emerging Technology Initiatives
- Participate in the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing support of AI-powered tools and agentic workflow solutions
- Support robotic process automation (RPA) activities using UiPath, including discovery, testing, and ongoing participation in automation projects
- Grow, over time, into UiPath platform administration and bot development responsibilities
- Contribute to PRISM's AI Initiatives, which guide the responsible adoption of AI and automation across the organization Documentation & Training
- Create and maintain technical and user-facing documentation, including how-to guides, workflow diagrams, process documentation, and training resources
- Support staff onboarding and training sessions, and provide ongoing user assistance across departments Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, propose solutions, and support informed decision-making
- Collaborate actively within a Scrum-based team, contributing to sprint ceremonies and shared team goals
- Log and track support tickets; assist in bug triage and resolution
- Provide backup coverage for technical roles as needed and contribute to broader IT initiatives be required.
Job Requirements This position requires at least two years of professional experience in an IT, system support, technical analyst, or related role.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate:
- Hands-on experience administering the Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management), including project and space configuration, workflow design, and user and permission management
- Foundational to intermediate SQL skills, with comfort querying databases to support data analysis, reporting, or validation tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level
- Experience supporting UAT, QA, or change management processes
- Familiarity with web application development processes and agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with or exposure to ETL processes, data quality checks, and reporting
- The ability to analyze data for validity and maintain a high standard of data integrity
- Strong communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work across multiple teams and departments
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) and interest in prompt development, AI governance, or agentic workflow design
- Exposure to RPA tools, with UiPath experience a plus
- Experience with or interest in low-code/no-code platforms, web technologies, or scripting; development skills are a plus but not required
- Experience working with a content management system (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM) system, or policy administration/underwriting system
- Experience creating documentation for software requirements or training purposes
- Understanding of web standards including accessibility (WCAG), SEO best practices, web analytics, and content management; experience with Google Analytics is desirable
