Job Description
This is a hybrid role for someone who is equally comfortable fixing a network issue and writing the script that prevents it from happening again. You'll handle day-to-day IT support while also building the internal tools, automations, and workarounds that make operations run smoother over time. If you've ever thought "there should be a better way to do this" — and then built it —this role is for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO IT
Support (roughly half your time): Support Windows and macOS systems, Office 365, and standard peripherals Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, device configuration) Image and reimage workstations following security and deployment standards Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup and access permissions Log and track incidents in a ticketing system with clear documentation Escalate complex issues with reproduction steps and relevant logs Development & Automation (roughly half your time): Build internal tools, scripts, and automations to solve recurring IT and operational problems Create lightweight desktop or web-based utilities for data entry, monitoring, or workflow management Design and implement database schemas for tools that don't exist yet Document what you build so others can maintain and extend it Turn one-off workarounds into permanent, repeatable solutions
