IT Support Engineer (1099 Contractor - Remote) About Us Eubanks Cloud Services (ECS) is a managed service provider delivering IT, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. We support a diverse client base with a focus on Microsoft 365, endpoint management, security, and infrastructure services. We prioritize reliability, clear communication, and long-term client relationships built on consistent service delivery. About the Role We are seeking a skilled and dependable IT Support Engineer to support and maintain client environments. This is a remote, contract position offering flexible scheduling, with required daytime availability (Monday-Friday) to support client operations. While schedules are flexible, candidates must be available during business hours to respond to support requests and phone calls. Additional work may be completed during evenings or weekends based on workload and preference. •Occasional on-site work may be required for hardware-related tasks. Responsibilities Provide technical support for Windows and macOS systems Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments Manage endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune or similar platforms Troubleshoot issues related to e-mail, authentication, endpoints, and cloud services Monitor and respond to support tickets with clear documentation Answer and handle support queue phone calls via VoIP softphone on a mobile device Support user onboarding/offboarding and device setup Assist with client projects, migrations, and system improvements Independently manage client environments and assigned tasks Requirements Professional experience in IT support Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience Experience with Intune or other MDM endpoint management tools Familiarity with Google Workspace administration Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently without close supervision Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Availability during standard business hours (Monday-Friday) Willingness to use a mobile device for VoIP softphone access to support calls Preferred Qualifications Experience with endpoint security platforms, including incident response and mitigation Experience migrating large datasets between cloud services Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions Experience with DNS and domain management Experience with cloud and virtual desktop environments Education Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.) are a plus
Pay & Work Details Pay:
$27.00 - $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
