This role will serve as the primary IT presence in the US while working closely with the global IT team on infrastructure, security, and strategic initiatives, with direct support from the Director of Security & IT. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on environment with broad ownership, balancing daily support needs with long-term improvements and projects. Responsibilities Provide in-person and remote technical support to employees across office and manufacturing locations Troubleshoot hardware, software, account access, VPN, and connectivity issues Manage ticket queues and ensure service levels are met Lead onboarding and offboarding processes including device provisioning, account setup, access reviews, equipment collection, and license management Improve IT processes, workflows, and automation across the employee lifecycle Maintain office IT infrastructure including networking equipment, cabling, printers, conference room systems, AV equipment, and access control Plan and execute local IT projects such as office expansions, moves, and technology refreshes Manage US network infrastructure including switches, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, and connectivity Configure firewall rules and maintain security policies aligned with global standards Deploy and support laptops and workstations across macOS, Linux, and Windows environments Manage endpoint security tools and device management platforms such as Intune and EndpointCentral Support identity and access management through Microsoft 365 and Entra ID using least-privilege principles Own vendor relationships with ISPs, hardware suppliers, MSPs, and software providers Manage IT procurement, budgeting, and equipment lifecycle Administer core business systems including Microsoft 365, Zoom, Slack, and Atlassian including licenses, permissions, and integrations Requirements 5+ years of IT support and infrastructure experience in a corporate environment Strong troubleshooting skills in macOS and Linux environments, including command line usage and basic scripting Solid hands-on experience supporting Windows systems Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID Experience with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, ManageEngine Endpoint Central, Kandji or similar Strong networking knowledge with the ability to independently manage VPNs, Wi-Fi, switches, and firewalls Experience managing vendors, procurement, and hardware asset lifecycle Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and know when to escalate issues Nice to Have Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, or ITIL Foundation Experience working in manufacturing or operational technology environments
