Hybrid (2-3 days/week On-site) A mission-driven organization is seeking a Junior IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support across the organization. This role is responsible for maintaining a stable technology environment, assisting end users, configuring devices, and supporting Microsoft 365 and cloud systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and gaining hands-on experience with modern technologies in a collaborative environment. What You'll Do Provide Tier 1 help-desk support and assist with Tier 2 issues under guidance Support Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, license assignment, and access management Set up, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, and mobile devices Resolve common application, access, and permission issues Maintain IT hardware and software inventory Document issues, solutions, and workflows for knowledge sharing Assist with routine system maintenance and basic troubleshooting Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors Support security procedures, access reviews, and incident reporting Assist with technology rollouts, upgrades, and staff training Collaborate on emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience 2+ years of IT support, help desk, or technical support experience Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms Strong problem-solving and communication skills Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Azure, Intune, or identity management concepts Exposure to IT security practices and compliance environments Familiarity with web technologies or content management systems Experience using AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other regulated industries Work Environment This role operates primarily in an office environment with regular interaction with employees across departments. The position follows established procedures and collaborates closely with senior IT staff. Occasional flexibility may be required to support technology needs.
