Applicants must reside within the Central Arkansas area (Little Rock, North Little Rock, Conway metropolitan area). The selected candidate must be available Monday through Wednesday for approximately 4-7 hours per day. The IT Support Technician Apprentice will assist with day-to-day technology operations across healthcare environments, supporting physicians, nurses, office staff, and administrative teams. This role provides hands-on exposure to IT support, networking, Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint troubleshooting, and healthcare technology systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, motivated to learn, communicates well with others, and enjoys solving technical problems in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities Support Microsoft 365 and Windows-based users Provide first-level support for networking issues including wired, wireless, VPN, and VoIP connectivity Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, scanner, and peripheral device issues Respond to support requests through phone, email, and ticketing systems Document, track, and update technical support tickets Assist with software testing, updates, and deployments Perform basic wiring and workstation setup tasks Support users across multiple healthcare office locations Maintain professionalism when working directly with medical staff and end users Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Basic troubleshooting experience with Microsoft Windows systems Familiarity with common IT support concepts and best practices Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn quickly Ability to work independently and collaboratively Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills Associate degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related experience preferred but not required Job Type Part-Time Internship Contract Schedule Monday through Wednesday 4-7 hour shifts Minimum availability of 20 hours per week required Hybrid on-site support role Work Location Multiple healthcare office locations throughout Central Arkansas.
