Job Overview WSC Staffing is recruiting on behalf of a growing international organization seeking an IT Support Technician to support end users, business systems, and technology infrastructure at its Howell-area location. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with users, and supporting a wide range of hardware, software, and business applications in a collaborative environment. Position Summary The IT Support Technician will provide first-level technical support for desktop hardware, software, mobile devices, and business systems for both onsite and remote employees. This role works closely with internal IT teams to resolve technical issues, deploy technology solutions, and maintain day-to-day operations for a diverse user base. Key Responsibilities Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, ticketing system, and chat. Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, and related peripherals. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, password, and remote access issues. Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate resources when necessary. Document support requests, resolutions, and procedures. Support Microsoft 365 applications and business systems. Assist with mobile device setup and management, including Microsoft Intune administration. Train and support employees on hardware, software, and IT procedures. Monitor and follow up on outstanding support requests to ensure timely resolution. Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and technology initiatives. QualificationsRequired High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of hands-on IT support experience. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop hardware, and networking fundamentals. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Preferred Post-secondary education in Information Technology or a related field. Experience with Microsoft Intune, Power BI, and Power Automate. Experience with IT ticketing systems such as Freshdesk. Familiarity with Citrix, virtual desktop environments, or Microsoft Dynamics platforms. Experience supporting iOS and Android devices. Bilingual language skills are a plus. Work Environment Professional office setting with occasional exposure to warehouse and production environments. Occasional travel to other domestic locations (up to 10%). Ability to occasionally provide support outside normal business hours. Hybrid work flexibility may be available after successful completion of the training period. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion. Why Apply?
