Position Summary NWM Risk Management is looking for an IT Support & Technology Solutions Specialist to serve as the primary technology resource for our team. This role will provide day-to-day employee technical support while also evaluating, researching, and implementing technology platforms and tools that can streamline workflows, improve productivity, and support company growth. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on IT support and strategic thinking around business technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Employee Technology Support Provide day-to-day IT support for employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, systems, and connectivity issues Respond to and resolve help desk requests in a timely manner for both W2 employees and contractors Set up and maintain computers, devices, printers, software, and user accounts Assist employees with onboarding, technology setup and offboarding Coordinate with vendors and third-party technology providers as needed Maintain documentation and IT procedures Technology Strategy & Business Improvement Research and evaluate emerging technologies, software platforms, and business tools Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency Recommend and help implement systems that improve workflows and employee productivity Assess opportunities for automation and integration across departments Collaborate with leadership to understand business needs and technology goals Assist with system upgrades and implementation projects Security & Systems Management Support cybersecurity best practices and employee awareness Monitor system performance and technology reliability Assist with software licensing, updates, and technology inventory management Help maintain data security and compliance standards Qualifications 2-5+ years of IT support, systems administration, or technology solutions experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience supporting Microsoft Office/365, Windows environments, and common business applications Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and business software solutions Experience researching or implementing workflow, CRM, project management, or automation tools a plus Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users Self-motivated with the ability to identify and solve problems proactively Preferred Skills Experience with Microsoft 365 administration Knowledge of cybersecurity practices Experience with workflow automation tools Understanding of business process improvement Familiarity with insurance, risk management, or professional services environments is a plus Why Join NWM Risk Management?
