Solumina L2 Support Engineer
Location:
Cincinnati, Ohio (Remote) Long Term Contract Mandatory skills are Solumina MES iSeries (i090 to i120), MES and SQM.
Role Overview:
The Solumina L2 Support Specialist will focus on operational support and system sustainment activities for existing Solumina implementations. This role ensures system stability, manages upgrades, and resolves operational issues to maintain high availability and performance. Unlike implementation-focused roles, this position emphasizes post-deployment support, configuration management, and continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Experience with iBASEt Solumina MES iSeries (i090 to i120), including manufacturing execution, quality management, and paperless shop‑floor operations. Hands‑on experience with Solumina iSeries, latest release i120, supporting MES, SQM, and model‑based manufacturing capabilities. Develop and configure Solumina MES modules as per functional and technical requirements. Implement integrations between Solumina MES and ERP, PLM, and shop‑floor automation systems. Participate in Solumina integration design, development, and testing to ensure stable and scalable solutions. Work with analysts, architects, and business teams to translate use cases into technical solutions. Develop, debug, and maintain Solumina workflows, data mappings, and customizations. Support PoC development and validate technical feasibility of new enhancements. Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth deployment across environments.
Technical skills:
Hands‑on experience with Solumina MES platform including configuration and development. Strong understanding of Solumina data structures, tables, and business rules for integration and customization.
MES-ERP-PLM
integration skills and familiarity with manufacturing processes. Experience with system integration technologies (APIs, message brokers, event-driven patterns like JMS/Kafka). Knowledge of shop‑floor automation systems and Level‑2 interfaces.
