- Required Skills & Experience
- + 5+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
+ Strong experience in Mainframe Production Support (application support required) + JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2, CA7, IDCAMS, Mainview + File tools: File Manager, File Analyzer, EZTRIEV + Experience with ticketing and documentation tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence or similar) + Ability to work in a high-volume, production-critical environment

- What You Will Be Doing
- + Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Operations Engineering.
+ Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Systems Operations Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. + Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. + Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. + Provide Level 2/3 production support for Automated Credit, Rewards, and Credit Card Hub applications + Monitor production systems and ensure system stability and uptime + Analyze and troubleshoot failed mainframe jobs (JCL) + Perform root cause analysis and support ad hoc job executions + Partner with Production Control to restart and recover failed jobs + Respond to business user requests and application team needs + Maintain and update incident tracking (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence) + Monitor and respond to application group mailboxes + Document incidents, resolutions, and create JIRA stories for follow-up
