Job Description

Production Support Analyst
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid (1-2 days onsite per week)

Foxhole Technology is seeking a Production Support Analyst to join our team in support of a federal agency. This role will be a part of the Operations team on the program and will support over 70 applications and 4 missions. Candidates who gravitate towards high-visibility roles with significant mobility potential are encouraged to apply directly.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Monitors the production applications, scheduled jobs, and incident management ticketing system; receives incidents and requests from end-users, analyzes them, and either responds to the end user with a solution or escalates to the appropriate resolver group.
  • Assists in creating Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for other groups to help with their knowledge of the application and help decrease the time needed to resolve issues.
  • Collaborates with Development teams to troubleshoot incidents, research root causes, and provide details which can help to prioritize stories.
  • Writes SQL queries and analyze tables, grants, functions, procedures, packages and triggers.
  • Must have problem solving skills and be capable of breaking down complex situations to discover and resolve root causes - both technical and process-related issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7 years of experience working in IT/Communications
  • Experience with SQL and Toad a plus
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to discuss issues with customers and other team membersRequirements of position: Think analytically, effective verbal and written communication skills, make decisions, observe/remember details, interpret data, concentrate on tasks, adjust to change, handle stress/emotions.
