Senior Desktop Support Technician -
Madison, WI Onsite Location:
Madison, WI ( 100% onsite - WI residency required, no relocation )
Duration:
Contract through 6/30/2027 (extensions possible)

Rate:
$28-31/hr. Key Requirements Minimum 2+ years experience in desktop support Strong remote troubleshooting and issue resolution skills Experience with device setup, imaging, and deployment High level of customer service and end-user support Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work independently in a team environment Nice to Have AV integration experience Strong ability to work in fast-paced environments with competing priorities Core Responsibilities Perform desktop/laptop repair, maintenance, and deployment across enterprise environments Install and configure new hardware and replace end-of-life equipment Execute device imaging and setup Maintain and update inventory and handle equipment disposal/recycling Manage and close tickets/work orders within a service management system Follow established processes, policies, and procedures under technical oversight Provide onsite support and occasional field support at additional locations Work Environment & Requirements 100% onsite role with no remote option Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Flexible schedule required ( 4x10, 5x8, or flexible 9-day schedule ) Occasional travel to local facilities ( mileage reimbursement or company vehicle option #LI-JH1 #INDTS Peoplelink LLC, a leader in the staffing industry for the past 33 years, continues our vision of 'linking' communities through employment.
